So many fascinating ways to have fun.
In addition to natural beauty and sanity-restoring peace and quiet, our farm stay guests enjoy access to more than three miles of trails, a pond, and two elevated wildlife viewing stations.
Want to make your stay at Ardor Wood Farm even more special, or create the perfect day trip? Consider one of these guided experiences:
Joy of Goats
for groups of 2 – 10
2.5 hours
Our Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goat herd is the life of the farm. You’ll find them to be quite gentle and friendly. After a brief history and orientation, we’ll head to the barn, where you’ll soon be on a first-name basis with the herd. In March, April, and May you can bottle feed the baby goats. This event happens annually, March – April.
Labyrinth Magic
for groups of 2 or more
1.5 hours
Walking our six-circuit labyrinth is both calming and inspiring. Labyrinths are an ancient archetype dating back more than 4,000 years, and are wonderful tools for personal transformation. We’ll offer a simple framework for your walk, allowing you to find your own natural rhythm. Upon completion, you’ll have the option to enjoy tea and shared conversation, and may also stay to picnic or explore our hiking trails.
Wondering in Full Color

Guided Wanders with The Celtic Cowboy
1.5 hours
Private bookings for groups of 4-18
Ardor Wood Farm co-founder Graham Pierce is pure Irish, and all Texan. He’s also an incredibly interesting and delightful guide to these 67 acres. Graham (aka The Celtic Cowboy) will lead you on an exploration of 3+ miles of trails through trees and meadows, and along the way introduce you to the Longhorns, chickens, blackbuck, Barbados sheep and dairy goats. He’ll show you our nesting areas for owls and bluebirds, our apiary, and our labyrinth. He’s also happy to share more about our land stewardship practices, which include native grassland restoration and rainwater collecting.
Bird Box & Fairy House Building
1.5 hours
Private bookings for groups of 4-18
Life is better with beautiful birds and magical fairies nearby. So why not let us guide you in building your own birdhouse to take home? (We’ll make sure it’s just the right kind for your region.) And of course, children of all ages love gathering natural treasures in the woods to make homes for the fairies in your yard.
Bee Amazed
1.5 hours
Private bookings for groups of 4-18
So just how do bees make those incredible hives and that delicious honey? It’s a great story, and one you’ll enjoy hearing as you visit our apiary and learn the basics of beekeeping.
Restorative Aerial Yoga Privates
1 hour
Individual 1:1 bookings
Restorative Yoga is therapeutic – gentle, meditative, slow stretching and rehabilitative. This method focuses the mind through powerful visualizations as it floats the body through a series of gentle gyro-kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. The technique features full body inversions, alongside various forms of flowing spinal traction. It offers accessibility to those with physical limitations, but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility, and mind/body connection.
Seeing The Invisible, Mobius Method
Available Workshops: • Systems Awareness • Belonging & Trust • Purpose, each 3.5 hours
Private bookings for groups on or offsite
See and make clear the invisible patterns that can either help or hinder a group’s potential. Setting the conditions for individuals and teams of any kind to thrive. Creating a culture of trusting relationships and clear shared purpose, both vital precursors to thriving, effective teams that can successfully create the future they want together.
Using a mashup of systems thinking, movement and group reflection, Seeing the Invisible makes visible the patterns that can either recreate what’s not working or help us intentionally choose new possibilities.
