It’s Baby Goat Time! Plan your visit to Ardor Wood Farm. Come enjoy the goat kids, bring a picnic, stay awhile & wander the nature trails.
About this event
WELCOMING
You will be greeted with a farm orientation & history by one of the founders of Ardor Wood Farm. Traversing to the dairy goat barn, likely checking for fresh eggs in the hen house along the way! (~15 minutes)
SNUGGLING & CUDDLING
Baby Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats are our treasured pets. You will be introduced to the herd & be on a first name basis. We will spend time with the new “kids” for snuggles & cuddles. Possibly having the opportunity to feed a few favorites alongside one of the owners. (~45 minutes)
WANDERING
Take an hour or two to complete your farm time, enjoying the beautiful property.
PICNICKING
After your goat immersion experience you may set off at your leisure on a private adventure to explore the numerous trails throughout our 67 acre property. Bring a picnic to enjoy on your hike, or when you return in the outdoor dining area (where you will find a bocci ball court and horseshoes).
EXPLORING
Be certain to leave time to encounter a magical walk into the Abingdon Labyrinth. There’s certainly treasure to find if you circumvent the circuitous route to the center!
REPLENISHING
At Ardor Wood Farm you will enjoy a delightful experience in Nature, with an abundance of wild flora & fauna, returning home with a renewed sense of replenishment!
